Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Counselling in Eastbourne
I’m Steve Neesam, an experienced and fully qualified Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I provide face to face psychotherapy, counselling and hypnotherapy from my private practices in Eastbourne town centre and Polegate.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental therapeutic space for you to explore your personal concerns, fears and feelings. You may be experiencing anxiety which is affecting your day to day life, depression which is robbing you of feeling like yourself or experiencing the effects of unresolved childhood experiences or traumas. You may be having relationship difficulties or wanting to improve aspects of your life but feel unable to.
These issues can leave you feeling lost or uncertain, meaning you struggle to find meaning or pleasure in life. You can feel disconnected from yourself or others, increasingly losing confidence in yourself and in your ability to once again, be the person you know you can be.
Whatever the problems you are facing right now, I can provide a sensitive, supportive and warm environment in which you can begin to move through these issues and begin to enjoy your life again.
The combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy creates an integrated therapy that is unique.
- Psychotherapy gives you a greater understanding of why you’re feeling as you do. This allows the changes you make to be real, deep-rooted and long-lasting.
- Hypnosis enables direct, fast changes at the subconscious level, meaning that the changes you make can be far quicker than just with psychotherapy or counselling alone.
Both Eastbourne practices offer you a comfortable, safe space where you can begin to gain freedom from the problems that are troubling you. I have many clients throughout East Sussex, including Bexhill, Lewes and Hastings as well as in Eastbourne.
Do give me a call and we can chat through how you are feeling and how I can help you. You can then choose to do what is best for you.
18 separate studies have found that patients receiving psychotherapy plus hypnosis for weight loss, anxiety, depression, and insomnia showed greater improvement than most patients receiving psychotherapy alone.
I am an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist providing therapeutic support to the charity’s members and partner beneficiaries.
To attain UKCP accreditation, the therapist must have a relevant qualification equivalent to a Masters Degree and completed at least four years of clinical practice.
The Department of Health recommends that, when seeing a hypnotherapist, you choose one that is CNHC registered.
