Supervision
for “in training”, newly-qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists
I offer supervision for psychotherapists and counsellors.
Supervision is a requirement for those in training or newly qualified therapists. For the more experienced, it is strongly recommended that this becomes an intrinsic part of how you work. A good supervisor can add real value to your clients and to your well-being in the role.
What do you want from your supervision?
If you are training or newly qualified, reassurance that you are “on the right track” may be your priority as well as a space to explore how you transition from theory to practical application in your therapy sessions.
For more experienced therapists, you may require a restorative space to work through stresses or issues that clients’ have brought up in you or a collaborative discussion on how best to work with a difficult case, so that your client is best served and you develop new skills and insights.
Supervision, like therapy itself, relies on an authentic, trusting and supportive relationship. Within this, growth can take place at a professional and a personal level. A good supervisor will always be open to new learning from you too.
If you are interested in me being your supervisor, please get in touch and we can have an informal chat to see if I am the right supervisor for you.
Supervision sessions are 50 minutes and the fee is £70 per session.
