About Steve Neesam

I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and hypnotherapist based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, helping you to better achieve your potential and gain release from the problems affecting your life.

Whilst I help predominately with personal issues, I also work within sports performance and business environments. In my previous career, I worked in the banking industry, beginning as a cashier and working through to Regional Manager. This “real world” experience has taught me many things that I can bring to my therapeutic work.

In your therapy sessions, you will experience a safe, warm and non-judgmental environment. You will have space to freely explore the issues that are troubling you. Some people find it difficult to talk about themselves at first, whilst others feel an immediate need to unburden themselves. There is no right or wrong way and you will find yourself relaxing more and more as we work together.

As an “Integrative Therapist” I have trained in a wide range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy and Hypnotherapy. There are many schools of therapy, each with their own strengths. My role is to harness this knowledge to help you in the best way that I can.

Heard of Reverse Advent Calender?
You have 24 empty pouches and you put in an item of food each day. On the 24th you take it to a food bank to help those struggling this #Christmas . A great way to teach our children about giving too. #Foodbanks #foodbank #eastbourne

Here's a nice thought to start your day. Most people are far less interested in you than you think. Most people are far more interested in themselves. And many will be worried about what YOU think about THEM. #anxiety #anxietyproblems #anxious #eastbourne
